Power Bank 20,000 mAh for Heated Apparel

Warmth for several days, no socket needed

The EmberThreads Power Bank 20,000 mAh holds four times as much as the power bank in the box with the vest and touchscreen gloves. It belongs in your backpack or lid pocket: for hut-to-hut tours over several days, long working days outdoors, weekends without a socket.

  • 20,000 mAh (74 Wh) – four times the capacity of the power bank in the box
  • 5V / 2A – the current heated apparel is built for
  • Two USB-A outputs, charges via USB-C or Micro-USB
  • Roughly four times the warmth per charge compared with the 5,000 mAh (calculated)
  • 5.4 × 2.7 × 1.1 in (138 × 68 × 28 mm), about 14 oz (400 g)
  • CE compliant to EN IEC 62368-1

What the capacity means outside

Around 32 hours with the vest on level one, or 20 to 24 hours with the touchscreen gloves – calculated from the power bank in the box, which keeps the vest running for eight hours on level one (measured at 23 °F / −5 °C). Spread over several days, that covers a long weekend.

One heated piece per power bank

The two USB-A outputs share their power. For full heat, run one heated piece per power bank – the vest or the gloves. With the heating off, the second output charges your phone.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work with the vest and touchscreen gloves?
Yes. Both run on USB at 5V and 2A – exactly what this power bank is built for.

How long does the heat last?
About four times as long as with the power bank in the box: around 32 hours with the vest on level one, or 20 to 24 hours with the touchscreen gloves. These figures are calculated, not measured.

Can I connect the vest and gloves at the same time?
Better not. The outputs share their power, so neither would get enough. For two heated pieces, take two power banks.

Can I take it on a plane?
Usually yes, in cabin baggage: at 74 Wh it is below the common 100 Wh limit. Power banks do not belong in checked luggage. Your airline's rules apply.

Does it work with heated socks?
No. Socks with a 3.7V battery system need their own battery pair.

Common questions

  • Thin heating panels are sewn into each piece and powered by a battery. Depending on the product, that is a pocket power bank, a pair of batteries or a built in cell. Turn it on, pick a level and you are set.

  • Yes. Every heated product ships with the battery it needs, whether that is a power bank, a battery pair or a built in cell. There is nothing extra to buy, and the power banks can also charge your phone.

  • On the lowest setting with the included battery, the vest lasts about eight hours and the gloves five to six. Each product page lists the run time for every level. Bring a spare battery for longer days.

  • Each product page and package includes care instructions. In general, disconnect the battery and cable first and always let it air dry.

  • Shipping is always free. You will see the delivery estimate for your country at checkout and on our shipping page.
